PUMA® Moto Collection Shifts Into High Gear
Puma have made subtle changes across the board in 2010, making the range even more comfortable then ever before. The use of new materials makes them lighter, whilst still retaining safety you have come to expect from Puma. For the Puma Desmo V3 model, they have added a “slit” which allows people with larger then normal ankle bones to be able to fit into them, where previously this was not the case. Depending on “how much” pressure is in that area, the boot can “expand” as such, relieving the wearer of any discomfort!!!
The Puma Desmo has been created for the rider who wants to feel comfortable when riding. No longer is the need for a second pair of shoes once you get to were you have ridden. The most common comment made by people (young and old) trying on Puma motorcycle boots is “Wow, how comfy are these boots from the word go”? Most people are impressed with how good they fit and the comfort when walking around in them.
Puma Desmo comes to enrich the collection by boots from PUMA ® Moto. By associating an optimal protection and improved comfort, it finds its place between the famous boot "1000" from PUMA ®, powerful on the circuit, and then the "Brutal one called - Roadster", conceived for the road. Held to the pilots of the elite, the Desmo comprises the following technical elements:
Upper:
- In ultra micro fiber abrasion resistant, especially developed for Desmo
- Impermeable Zip and ventilated interior fabric
- Elastic Inserts on the kick and heel for an easy fitment and a better comfort
- Rubber Inserts molded on the internal face for a perfect contact with the motor bike
Sole:
- Out of rubber high density, for an excellent adherence and abrasion resistance
Protection:
- Reinforcements intern out of nylon injected on the malleoli
- Protection tibiae out of polyurethane injected
- Cockpit heel out of polyurethane injected for a maximum protection
- Sliders postpones in TPU for an additional protection
- Sliders before and slider of zinc heel
- Selector rubber Pad injected and molded internal sole anti-vibration

- A small cushioning structure is built into the lower portion of the boot to provide vertical impact protection in the event of a fall
- Contoured shin plate protection wraps around to cover calf and is shaped to dissipate impact energy across the entire surface while ensuring ease of movement and compact profile
- Technical lightweight sole features a specific rubber compound which gives excellent grip and feel while allowing natural flex as the rider changes position and pressure on the foot peg
- Special light weight toe shifter gives feel and protection for changing gear and preventing pinching over the toes
- Replaceable reinforced toe slider give great feel and protects the outer toe box structure from abrasion
