While driving, it's easy to encounter surfaces such as glass, water, snow, fog, rain, etc... that reflect the sun's ray's like a mirror, amplifying their intensity. Good eye protection against reflection, or glare, is therefore important for riders and drivers alike. Polarized lenses offer the perfect solution to the problem of glare, through their ability to select the harmful rays which reach our eyes. Daylight travels in waves oscillating in three dimensions, whereas polarized light travels mainly in two dimensions, horizontally and vertically. Vertical light delivers useful information to the human eye, enabling us to see colours and contrast, while horizontal light simply creates "noise" or glare. The unique polarized lenses, however, block the horizontal light and only allow light through which can be best processed by the human eye.
